01Introduction

The Market Lexicon ("Market Lexicon," "we," "us," "our") provides a crypto trading terminal offering charting, technical and fundamental analysis, market data, and an automated strategy builder (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, join the beta waitlist, or use the Service, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

02Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Waitlist & Account Details: your name (optional), email address, and selected plan interest when you request beta access or sign up.
  • Billing Information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment card and billing details on our behalf. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
  • Support Communications: information you share when you contact us for support, including via Discord.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: pages viewed, features used, and interaction timestamps, collected via privacy-conscious analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights).
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type, and operating system, used for security, debugging, and analytics.

Exchange Connectivity

The Service is designed to connect to supported exchanges using read-only API keys that you provide. Read-only keys cannot place trades, withdraw funds, or move assets. We do not take custody of your funds, and we do not request or require withdrawal-enabled API credentials at any point.

03How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate the Service: provide the terminal, process your waitlist request, and manage your subscription.
  • Communicate with You: send beta invites, service updates, billing notices, and respond to support requests.
  • Improve the Product: understand feature usage and diagnose issues to prioritize what we build next.
  • Maintain Security: detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
  • Meet Legal Obligations: comply with applicable tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.

04Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service Providers: infrastructure, payment (Stripe), and analytics providers who process data on our behalf, solely to operate the Service.
  • Legal Requirements: where required by law or in response to a valid request from a public authority.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy continuing to govern your information.

05Security of Your Information

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. As noted above, read-only exchange credentials cannot be used to move or withdraw funds, which limits the impact of any potential compromise.

06Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, and comply with legal obligations. Waitlist entries that never convert to an account may be retained for a limited period for outreach purposes before being deleted or anonymized.

07Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access or Correct: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
  • Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., billing records we must retain).
  • Opt Out: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link included in those emails.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact Us section below.

08Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use essential cookies to operate the website and privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Service may not function correctly without them.

09Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

10International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.

11Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
