Build crypto strategies without writing code.
The Market Lexicon's strategy builder turns a crypto market idea into rules you can test. You connect plain conditions, such as price levels, volume filters and exits, and see how they work together. No code is needed.
From an idea to rules you can test.
- 01
Start from the idea
Your research stays attached: the question you asked and the chart context that prompted it.
- 02
Add conditions
Describe what you watch in plain terms, like a close above a level or volume above its average.
- 03
Combine the logic
Decide how conditions work together, for example requiring all of them to be true.
- 04
Set exits and risk
Add how the trade ends: a stop, a trailing stop or a close back inside a range.
Three ideas, written as rules.
Examples of how rules read in the builder. They show the format, not trade recommendations. New to the terms? See mean reversion and trailing stop in the Lexicon.
Range breakout
BTC/USDT has ranged for three weeks. Does a 4h breakout on strong volume hold?
- When
- 4h close above the three-week range high
- And
- Volume above 1.5x its 30-day average
- Exit
- Trailing stop 3%, or a close back inside the range
Trend pullback
BTC/USDT is trending up. Is buying 4h pullbacks to the short average better than chasing highs?
- When
- Price above its 50-period average on the 4h chart
- And
- Price pulls back to the 20-period average
- Exit
- Stop below the last swing low, target twice the risk
Mean reversion
After sharp 4h drops, does BTC/USDT tend to snap back toward its average?
- When
- 4h close two deviations below the 20-period mean
- And
- RSI below 30
- Exit
- Back at the mean, or a 4% stop
Rules in plain terms, kept with the idea.
- No scripting. Rules are built from plain conditions, so you can test an idea without writing code.
- One place. The idea, its rules, its test results and its live status stay together.
- Nothing retyped. The rules you build are the rules that get tested and then monitored.
(05) Questions
UpdatedNo. The Market Lexicon's strategy builder uses plain conditions like price levels, volume and exits, so you can turn an idea into testable rules without writing a script.
Rules combine conditions, such as a close above a price level or volume above its average, logic such as requiring every condition to be true, and exits such as a stop or a trailing stop.
You test the same rules on market history in the backtesting stage, then switch on live monitoring. The rules are never rewritten between stages.
